No, we are delighted to include the cost of fitness sessions, studios and classes in the price of your ticket for Live Well Manchester, you just need to book your space in advance to guarantee your space.

You will be able to book up to 2 sessions (3 for VIP's) in the Boutique Studios in advance and we will always leave a small number of spaces free so if you miss your chance to book or it says it’s full online, please try on the day and tell the person managing the door that you would like to attend the next session. The rest of the sessions (Knowledge Hub, Retreat, MOVE IT Stage, Live Kitchen and Vibe & Flow Yoga Studio) will be walk up and based on a first-come, first-served basis, so best to get there early to avoid disappointment.

Do I need to book to attend fitness sessions, studios and classes?

Yes please!  Sessions for the Studios will be available to book online and to reserve your space in your sessions of choice in advance of the event (subject to availability). The Knowledge Hub, Retreat, Live Kitchen, Vibe & Flow Studio and Move it Stage will be walk up only. You will be notified when the programme is available and you can start tailoring your visit.  All we ask is if you book a session, and then are not able to attend, you cancel your place as soon as possible so others can attend instead. Some sessions will have a very small amount of walk-up places.

The class I want to book is full. Are there walk up places?

We are sorry if you are unable to book onto a pre-bookable class. The classes are bookable on a first come first served basis and therefore may be full; however we do hold a select number of places for walk ups on the day! Please do note that even if you are unable to book onto any of the classes there is still so much to see and do at Live Well Manchester, all completely free and included in your ticket. These include all sessions in the Knowledge Hub, Retreat, MOVE IT Stage, Vibe & Flow Studio and Live Kitchen, with full details being made available once the programme is live. We advise arriving 10-15 mins before a session starts to ensure a space.

What do I need to wear?

Please come dressed appropriately for the types of activities you will be doing during your visit.  Whether it is meditation and breathing, yoga or a full on HIIT class, please dress for your comfort.  Live Well Manchester is welcome to all, so if you are coming to just listen, watch and learn from our experts in the Knowledge Hub or LIVE Kitchen, and explore the exhibitors taking part throughout the show, you are very welcome without your work out gear!

Where is Live Well Manchester?

Manchester Central Convention Complex (commonly known as Manchester Central) is an exhibition and conference centre converted from the former Manchester Central railway station in Manchester, England. The building has a distinctive arched roof with a 64-metre span - the second-largest railway station roof span in the United Kingdom and was granted Grade II* listed building status in 1963. After 89 years as a railway terminus, it closed to passengers in May 1969. It was renovated as an exhibition centre formerly known as the G-Mex Centre in 1982 and was Manchester's primary music concert venue until the construction of the Manchester Arena. After renovation the venue reverted to its former name Manchester Central in 2007 and is now the home of Live Well Manchester!
